NHS Wales' Security Update - 17 May 2017

In response to the recent global cyber threat, the majority of inbound emails to NHS Wales will continue to be blocked and automatically deleted.  This is a precautionary measure, which will be reviewed by NHS Wales’ on Friday. 

 

To support care and business continuity a number of ‘trusted’ organisations can now send and exchange emails with  NHS Wales, following a mutual assessment of compliance with best security practice. This includes police, Welsh Government and GP Computer System suppliers.
